There is a road up from La Mision Valley to Punta Piedra that after which this is considered. I made few alterations to the reality.

Usually I alter reality quite a bit.

When I was a teenager we had this cool little trailer and cabana down in Baja. The place was called Punta Piedra. Just south of La Mision. Soooooooo Cool. Great Surf, Diving, Motorcycles on the Beach, Bottle Rockets, Surf, Horses, Mex Ice Cream (Mas Major), Surf, The WORM, Stinky Out House, No crowds, Fresh Fish......and it all burned down in 1973. It was great

Yea...I know this is like the one called "Focus"....so I am not all that original. Sorry to disappoint.

Down in San Blas Mexico there is a road to this great little surf spot called "Stoners Point" (Named after Surf Photog Ron Stoner) and it is a dense jungle...we took the bus on this road and I got out to take a photo but was eaten by mosquitos, so this is a loose interpretation of that event, sense I had to run back to the bus.

I painted this Ukulele to be sold in auction at the UCSD Longboard Luau 2010. So much fun is that event and to date they have raised a ton of moola for the John Moore's Cancer Research Center. Cool

The off shore breezes on the outer island..... ahhhhhhh

Wade's wavescapes are magical and his surfboards are astoundingly beautiful...so this painting has my attempt at Wade's wave scape on the right side and my goofy bent up Red Kombi on the left.....it could happen

I love to draw Cartoons. Anything can happen in the world of "toons"

Sometimes they get published or just used to line bird cages. For a couple of years I did two cartoon illustrations each month for Surfer Magazine. The illustrations where for the long running "serial" called "Everybody Surfs" written by Dave Parmenter. These stories are funny. I post some of them here.

Soon I will post the rest of them along with the tags to their respective Volume and Issue of Surfer. So much fun was this project, we where bummed when Surfer pulled the plug. O Well...Maybe a coffee table collection of "Everybody Surfs?"
